Coronavirus Updates

Guidance, Parish Cancellations and Postponements, and Live Stream

As the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has prompted many changes in events at our Parish, we would like to make every effort to keep Saint Joseph Parishioners are well-informed; fully supported in faith and love; and safe and healthy as best we can. The Bishop has granted dispensation excusing Catholics from the obligation of Masses through April 5th. Effective March 17, 2020, all Public Masses for the next three weeks have been suspended. Private Masses are being offered at Saint Joseph and our Church building will remain open everyday. Although staff will be limited, our Parish Office will remain open during this time. Our dedication to our faith and belief in God's promise keeps Saint Joseph Parish firm during this unprecedented pandemic.

Keeping Parishioners Informed:

  • Monsignor Walsh asks that we, as a Parish, pray The Angelus at 12 noon and The Rosary at 3:00pm daily wherever you may be during the week.
  • There will be no PUBLIC MASSES this week. Masses will live streamed Saturdays at 6:00pm in English, Sundays at 12:00 noon in Spanish. Live streams can be accessed on Saint Joseph’s YouTube and Livestream channels. Streams will also be posted to the website.
  • Online Giving is encouraged; however, Parishioners are welcome to mail in their offertory envelopes or drop off at the Parish Office.
  • Saint Vincent de Paul items may be dropped off behind the PMC building at the SVdP Office on Mondays from 10:00am - 1:00pm and Wednesday from 10:00am - 1:00pm
  • The Pope announced he will give an extraordinary blessing "urbi et orbi" (to the city and the world) at 6 p.m. Rome time (1:00pm local), tomorrow, March 27th, in an "empty" St. Peter's Square because all of Italy is on lockdown to prevent further spread of the Coronavirus.
