St. Joseph Catholic School

St. Joseph Catholic School is proud of its 67 years of solid, faith-based education.  We are a parish school overseen by Monsignor Walsh and led by our Principal, Dr. Allen.  Our Pre-K4-8th grade students and 45+ teachers are top-notch, as is noted by our being twice-recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.  Our students consistently perform in the top 10% to 15% in the nation on standardized testing. Our average class size is 22, and we have 2 classrooms per grade.  All of our teachers are certified, qualified and compassionate.

What makes us unique?  The sense of community, having God in the classroom, and our excellent curriculum.  Catholic education is a solid foundation from which a child can build a successful future.  Not only academically, but spiritually and socially as well.  All are welcome here; you do not have to be Catholic to attend our amazing school!

We are proud to offer on-campus and virtual learning to our students this fall.  Each SJCS student has either a computer or IPad, and the live-streaming students interact with their class and teachers during lessons.  We are asking all students to wear masks and have their temperature taken in morning carpool.

Benefits of a St. Joseph Catholic school education are numerous.  We offer daily religion class with a student-led Mass each Wednesday.  Our students are required to complete community service, and all students donate a can of food and 50 cents each month to the St. Vincent de Paul society.  We also have a wonderful “Faith-in-Action” award program that positively reinforces our commitment to love, kindness and faith.

The sense of community is amazing and the children are happy and thriving. I have had all three of my children graduate from St. Joseph Catholic School.  I can honestly say it is one of the best decisions that I have made for my children.  As seen in Proverbs 22:6 – Train the young in the way they should go; even when old, they will not swerve from it.
