Saint Joseph is a Hallow Parish Partner!
We are thrilled to announce that Saint Joseph is partnering with Hallow, the #1 prayer app, this year! Through prayer and meditation rooted in the Catholic faith, Hallow helps people grow closer to God and find peace. Users are able to pray alongside Fr. Mike, Sr. Miriam, Mark Wahlberg, Jonathan Roumie, and many more. The app also offers mental health and sleep content, audiobooks, and sacred music. We’ll be journeying through the Advent Pray25 prayer challenge together. All parishioners – subscribers and those on the free version – are invited to be a part of our parish page in the app. There, you’re able to create a profile, share prayer requests, and take part in prayer challenges together.

Current Challenges
Pray25
As we enter this sacred season of Advent, invite you to take a breath, slow down, and be still. Advent is meant to be a season of quiet preparation—a time to open our hearts to the peace and presence of Christ who comes to dwell among us. Yet, it’s often one of the busiest times of the year. Between shopping, decorating, and all the demands of daily life, it can be hard to make space for stillness and prayer.
That’s why we invite you to join us in year’s Hallow Pray25 challenge, “Be Still.” Together, we’ll journey with Mary and Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem—a path filled with uncertainty, fatigue, and even fear, yet marked by a deep trust in God. Together, we’ll dive into the Infancy Narratives, reflections from The Reed of God by Caryll Houselander, and the wisdom of the saints. Along the way, we’ll learn how to rest in God’s presence, to listen, and to find peace amid the chaos of our lives.
This is also a wonderful opportunity for us to journey together in prayer as a parish family. Prayer unites us. When we lift our hearts to God together—whether at Mass, in our homes, or here through Hallow—we strengthen our bond as the Body of Christ. Our hope is that this Advent, our parish grows not only in individual faith but also in shared communion and love for one another.

As you move through each day’s reflection, we encourage you to share your thoughts, insights, or moments of grace on our parish page. Your reflections may be exactly what someone else needs to hear that day—a simple word of hope or encouragement that helps another person encounter Christ in a new way.
Finding Fiat
Families with children are encouraged to take part in Finding Fiat, a special Advent journey for kids. It follows Grace, a young girl preparing to play Mary in her school’s Nativity play, as she learns what it means to say “yes” to God. It’s a joyful and faith-filled way for families to prepare their hearts together for Christmas.
You can join both challenges right on our parish page in the Hallow app. Don’t forget to click the Invite button at the top of the page to share this with your friends and family so they can pray alongside us. Let’s make this Advent a season of stillness, surrender, and peace—where we open our hearts together to receive Christ anew this Christmas.
